Nature and Forest Therapy is a gentle, reverent practice rooted in ecospirituality, the understanding that God moves through all creation and that our own wholeness is woven into the wholeness of the Earth.
Led by Certified Forest Therapy Guide Kelly O’Mahony, SCN, participants engage in a series of simple invitations that encourage presence and direct sensory engagement with the natural world. Drawing on the relational approach of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, the practice invites participants to explore their relationship with the more-than-human world through direct experience.
What to Expect
Walks are unhurried and include opportunities for observation, quiet reflection, and optional sharing. There is no right way to participate, and each person’s experience is unique. The invitations simply offer an opportunity to spend time in attentive relationship with the natural world.
