As the seasons begin to change, we’ll gather at the labyrinth to reflect on the invitations that autumn offers for our spiritual journey.

We are delighted to partner with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth’s Office of Social and Environmental Justice to offer “The Turning of the Seasons: A Laudato Si’ Series,” a year-long journey inspired by Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical, On Care for Our Common Home. While rooted in the Catholic tradition, Laudato Si’ speaks to people of all faiths—and to anyone who longs for a more compassionate, sustainable, and connected world. It reminds us that care for the Earth, care for one another, and care for our own spirits are beautifully intertwined.

The Western Province Office of Social and Environmental Justice advances Nazareth’s vision by offering educational, advocacy, and prayer opportunities for sisters and associates around social and environmental issues. Together, we invite you to explore the wisdom of the seasons and discover practical, hope-filled ways to care for our common home.  Sr. Lisa Polega, SCN (Office of Social and Environmental Justice) and Misty Musk (Director, Nazareth Retreat Center) will guide each one-hour gathering, which includes a seasonal presentation, a time of shared reflection, and contemplative opening and closing practices. Whether you are deeply rooted in a faith tradition, spiritually curious, or simply seeking an opportunity to pause and reconnect with the rhythms of creation, you are warmly welcome.
