Inquirer, 2009 Vows June, 2010
I have served churches in Illinois, Indiana and Florida since 1992. I was granted the status of honorably retired in 2020.
My practice of meditation began in 2009 when I was introduced to meditation at a continuing education event. In 2010 I attended the John Main seminar in Cork, Ireland and came home to begin a meditation group that continued until April of 2021. I currently lead a weekly online Meditation Group. From 2010-2023 I hosted/led 3 meditation retreats with Dr. Gene Bebeau. I also attended the John Main Seminars in Houston and New Harmony. I have been a spiritual listener at 3 WCCM deep silence retreat weeks.
I currently maintain a client base in Spiritual Direction (via Zoom), participate in supervision with other Spiritual Directors and have a personal monthly meeting with my own spiritual director.
Since my second year in seminary I have spent a week in silence at the Abbey of Gethsemani, in Kentucky and after my Oblation, added a week of reflection at St. John’s Abbey to my annual discipline. I’ve taught more classes than I can remember 😉 and am a wife, mother, grandmother. This is already more than you wanted to know…
